Browser speed inside slow computer

I was having a Old 8 year old PC with Configuration of Intel Pentium 4 processor, 256MB RAM, 40GB HDD running Windows XP.

I currently got my PC upgraded to Intel Core i3, 2GB RAM, 500GB HDD running Windows 7. But for more than 5 years I was having a faster internet connection. I did upgrading PC last December 2012. I didn’t update it in my blog.

And, I specifically need to tell the world one thing which I noted in web browsers with regard to slow computers (Take my Old computer configuration as example).

I perfectly felt “Mozilla Firefox” far better browser than “Google Chrome”.

When you open Google Chrome working with multiple tabs, you can notice multiple threads of tasks running in Task manager, whereas with regard to “Mozilla Firefox” It has been designed to run tasks with one thread of process to be shown in task manager. So, basically Chrome tries to occupy more memory and when it does it fumbles a lot, I had a many personal experience guys. Firefox does the job of occupying smoothly and of course I am damn sure guys even you can notice, despite Chrome is best for working fast, It is not designed for slow computers. “The world will never run behind slow computers or slow processing devices, but I am just telling the fact about the test result truth“, it’s just a thing which Firefox is better than Chrome for 256MB RAM”.

The minimum working RAM configuration for both Firefox and Chrome is 256MB. When I considered testing I landed in this particular performance results. I found Firefox better than Chrome.

Firefox is the Winner

Firefox is the Winner

One again I like to quote my favourite line here:

“The world will never run behind slow computers or slow processing devices, but I am just telling the fact about the test result truth“
