Warm-up your Laptop periodically

Hi fellas. Its been really feeling good to share another thing about electronics from my side.:-)

Recently I bought a laptop which is running Window 8 in March 2013.

LAPTOP CONFIGURATION:

Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD and 1GB Graphic Card running Windows 8.

Windows 8 definitely features good things related to less power consumption and I have perfectly analysed that stuff, It really consume less power compared to the previous version of Windows.

Its good configuration so you can’t expect computer to get hanged when running Windows 8.

Like my previous message of a peculiar occasion which occurred with my tablet. This time it’s with my laptop.

I had an occasion where I signed out and signed in inside from the lockscreen of Windows 8.

During that particular mean time I had my system hanged possibly due to mismanagement of memory which unfortunately happened.

After many analysis I did with working with it, I had my only possibility of switching off the power of system and nothing else. Even the hibernate doesn’t work with the frozen screen,

After I did this stuff shocking news in my next boot up. Its blue screen error where I could see the text “Windows is corrupt needs repair, when it automatically rebooted and then automatically does the job of disc repair.

Windows Repair

Windows Repair

After It got proceeded fortunately windows successfully logged in.

And after that it was working fine.

And after I analysed stuffs  with my knowledge behind the software functionality and mechanism which I have, What I found was despite I have a good configuration PC I wasn’t playing games and stuffs which requires full use of resources and I have also already told you guys that I wasn’t a ever a computer gamer in my previous blog posts. That was the thing hurting the computer. The hardware limited itself at that particular situation to be some sort of mode, probably energy efficient mode would limited full usage of CPU skills(That’s the possible thing).

So, The bones of the laptop computer (in comparison with human body J) needed warm-ups.

So what I did was I filled the memory of the 4 GB  RAM with all the stuffs available in the computer.

Repeatedly opening the same programs to just fill the memory, I filled the entire RAM memory with apps continuously and kept my computer for 20 minutes. The laptop was discharging the power at 1 percentage per minute,

I filled the entire 4GB memory and made full utilization of multitasking

I filled the entire 4GB RAM memory and made full utilization of multitasking

After that I felt my PC far optimised when restarted. It’s not the simple configuration which is responsible for making the computer not frozen, Since it’s a laptop computer it has possibility for the computer to reserve itself to use less power consumption, Hence frozen screen or any other state like these things occurred have possibility to occur and it did for me.

Have a good fay optimizing your computer if you feel it got slow to, Even filling the memory and making the computer to periodically warm-ups is a necessity.
