During my earlier days of college I find one thing weird among me and made others question me why? It termed to be an odd practice for me and even made me mentally detached and also made me feel guilty……Want to know what it is? It is the morning sleep I had in my college bus. I was feeling drowsiness because I need to travel for the college for nearly 1 1/2 hrs. Three days passed from my first week of college. The next working day starts with Monday…….On Tuesday I felt mild drowsiness during my travel to the college. From that day onwards and for six continuous months I never reached college without drowsiness for continuous three days.
The following are the incidents which make me feel what a horrific start for the working day in the six months:
Incident 1:One day after reaching the college I was sleeping and a guy who was my friend woke me up.
Incident 2:Oneday one of my college mate sitting behind me simply stimulated me by keeping his finger behind my head seeing my drowsiness….and I thanked him and felt guilty.
Drowsiness repeated either for two continuous days or alternate days…..I had a plan during that time and I worked out====I will wash my face very hardly before leaving home for the college. It worked for few days but not for long….. Then the story continuous…..
Incident 3: It was first internal exam for us and Mathematics exam on that day……the bus was extremely crowded as two buses were combined due to several reasons and however I was sitting…….I couldn’t imagine the what I call “DAY-MARE” the opposite of nightmare on the situation…….I was worried about my late preparation for the exam and on the meantime I was worried that how can I control the drowsiness……for the time in which I could prepare…..and as a result “DAY-MARE” wins the battle. I couldn’t prepare sometime in the bus.
I had another plan and I implemented it====I used chewing gum everyday…..It was working for few weeks but at-last the plan stumbled. I was wearing tooth braces and one of the brace end which is called as bands (were the brace end is pivoted to the tooth)became too loose due to munching of the chewing gums. It became too loose to fix in its position.
I had repeated incident 1 and 2 in this time period.
Incident 4:One day I tried my best to control the sleep till the bus entered the entrance. I eyes would see the incidents in Terminator 3 film when the TX(Kristina Loken) alters the program of T-800(Arnold) and he stumbles whether to kill John Connor or not….and immediately after the bus stopped in the place inside the college….I fell my head down in sleep and my friend exclaimed…………GUY?
I had another plan and I implemented it====I brought what I called worthless mobile I ever seen it had just Sudoku Game and I analyzed whether I can tackle my drowsiness in the morning.(I was not bringing mobile at that time)…..the effect lasts only for few days
Incident 5:It was a normal working day and I was having the eyes of a hardcore drug-addict…..When I started the Sudoku game and waited for sometime to think for the game…..The I saw nothing other than the Sudoku timing started and proceeded 7:35 minutes and 8 and 9 minutes for the other sequential timings….at the end I kept my phone unknowingly near my seat….and when my friends were leaving I started to leave……Then after I reached my class I found my mobile missing……And received it from my senior college mate in the lunch break who travel in my bus. My friends who travel in my bus would never forget this incident.
It was very longtime from the last incident….and I repeated the previous incidents alternately in several days.
Incident 5: One day I was sitting in the corner of the bus seat……BANG BANG BANG BANG….I crashed on the support rod for four times before reaching my college.
Incident 6: One day I kept my bag in my front seat and I was sitting in the back seat…When the college bus was crowded all the seats were filled and one of my senior asked me to take my bag in the forward seat…..I heard only his tenth cry of my name and found grudge about the incident……..actually the guys who were occupying the seats didn’t notice my sleep and the senior guy too. The senior thought I was feeling shy to take the bag. On that evening I revealed the comedy story of my sleep to the senior.
Nowadays I totally get rid of my sleep that’s because I presently have multimedia mobile phone through which I can hear songs… fast beat songs makes drowsiness run away.
